Lefkada (Lefkas) - Λευκάδα
Hardly an island, since it's so close to the shore, that the boat to take you there forms a bridge that you simply have to drive through it. In a sense this makes it ideal for people who get sea sick! The island has a lot to offer, beautiful beaches full of plantation, great hikes including a small cataract, one of the greatest beaches for wind surfers in Greece. Other highlights include the famous Porto katsiki beach, and the daily cruises from Nydri to the little isles.
