Fourni - Φούρνοι

A cluster of decades of small isles, and three major small islands Fourni, Thimena and the uninhabited Agios Minas. In the past they were used by pirates. Difficult to reach due to the strong winds, but will immediately win your heart. Beaches, the best sea food, just simple life.




Ikaria - Ικαρία

Everything is unique about this island in the middle of Aegean, the flight of Icarus, the landscape, the people, even the tourists. The secret to enjoy is to become part of its culture. Whoever blends with the island, is definetely coming back. Oh it's the only place in Greece where you can surf the waves.




Samos - Σάμος

Pythagora's island, with many centuries of history. The unique Ano Vathy town, and the sailing harbor of Pythagorio add a more modern touch to the many ancient monuments. The nature is wild all over the island, a walk to the Potamos waterfalls after Karlovasi is a must. Some of the highlights, the Efpalinio Origma, Iraion and the Paleontology museum. The island produces great wine.




Inousses - Οινούσσες

A small island with a long maritime tradition, home land of many boat owners. The Tomb of the Unknown Sailor, the Mermaid in the harbor, and the maritime museum worth your visit. There are several sandy beaches.




Psara - Ψαρά

One of the hardest to reach islands, it is a perfect place for peace and quiet. Located in the middle of Aegean, the wind here is much stronger. There are plenty of sandy beaches, and the sunset walk to Mavri Rachi is breathtaking.





Chios - Χίος

One of the biggest islands, land of many captains and ship owners, possible birth place of Homer. Known for the unique mastic gum, offers a variety of attractions, and can be visited any time of the year. The median villages of Mesta and Olympi, the carved paintings in Pyrgi houses, the castle of Volissos, the historical villages Anavatos and Avgonyma, the mansions and walled orchards at Kampos, the magnificent Mavra Volia beach ... Beware of rockets at Easter time in Vrondados. Oh and west beaches are very cold even on August.

Lesvos - Λέσβος

One of the biggest islands, with great variety of landscapes, all types of beaches, thermal springs, mountains with forests. It is the birthplace of Sapho, the capital of "ouzo", and the home of Kalloni's sardines. Some of the highlights are the petrified forest in Sigri, the breathtaking Molyvos and the sunset in Petra.





Agios Efstratios - Άγιος Ευστράτιος (Αη Στράτης)

A small and hard to reach island, with very serious history. Almost completely destroyed by an erthquake in 1968, today is one of the very few islands you can find peace and quiet even on August. The boat that connects it with Lemnos is like from another time ...








Lemnos - Λήμνος

Vulcan's island, has some of his mystery. It's all sandy with long beaches and very few trees. A few ghost villages, some mineral springs, dune, and two beautiful lakes. A walk in Myrina's castle, and seefood in Moudros.

Most of them big islands, away from the shore and not very close to each other. The bigger ones have a wide variety of nature, the smaller have significantly less plantation. Each of them unique in its own way.

Hydra - Ύδρα

Hydra is also very close to the shore, and there are absolutely no vehicles in the island. Its style is nostalgic and cosmopolitan. An all-year round destination.






Spetses - Σπέτσες

A small island, very close to the shore of Costa, that you can reach by taxi boats! It is green, with beautiful beaches and glorious history. No cars are allowed but you can rent a bike.

Evia - Εύβοια

The second biggest islands, accessible either by bridge or by ferry from several mainland small ports. Provides a variety of landscapes, northern part reminds the Sporades whilst southern part reminds the Cyclades. One of the many highlights is the extraordinary tide of Euripus strait, the "crazy waters".





Trikeri - Τρίκερι

The island version of mount Pelio! A small green island, with few inhabitants, no cars and beautiful trails to follow.

Peristera - Περιστέρα

Parallel to the east side of Alonissos, has several remarkable beaches. There are two settlements of shepherds on the island.






Kira Panagia - Κυρά Παναγιά

On of the little islands in the heart of the monachus monachus sea park. It has a monastery with the only inhabitant these days, a monk.






Alonissos - Αλόννησος

The hidden jewel of north Sporades, beautiful colourful beaches and a magnificent well preserved old village "ΧΩΡΑ" with breathtaking view. Don't be surprised if one of the few monachus monachus come to town.







Skopelos - Σκόπελος

Another green island, typical of north sporades, recently became very popular due to Mamma mia film. But there are still a few quiet beaches, so this makes it something between cosmopolitan Skiathos and quiet Alonnisos.

The northmost of the aegean, thracian sea includes just two Greek islands. There aren't many similarities between them, but both have plenty of plantation and water. Both are relatively close to the shore.
